Creepy Twins

Did anyone else think those twins in the finals were creepy? For some reason I never liked them.

Guessing ur referring to Karen and Sharon Owens ~ whom I actually liked. Perhaps due to fact that they were the only dark skinned actors showcased.

No it was because of their costumes and routine. Thanks for jumping to such an ugly conclusion though.

Your reply came straight 2 me but not sure if was meant so. Since all I stated was fact that I actually liked em and no conclusion was made on my part.

OMG sorry. You liked them for that reason. I'm reading it correctly now. Guess it was me jumping to conclusions. My bad.

I agree, they were a bit creepy. I was just watching this movie on Encore (for the millionth time), and was trying to recall what else they starred in... looked it up here, and they were the formerly siamese twins in "Coming to America." Remember that scene, when Eddie Murphy is meeting girls at the bar? Talk about creepy!!

reply

Never thought they were creepy but never did know why they were picked when they were looking for a boy/girl couple. Don't see how they would have worked with the dances.

I thought they were cute!

They were a tad creepy, reminded me of mimes a bit the way they mimicked each other. However, I liked their dancing, but like someone else said, why were they even in the finals? It seemed like they paired everyone else off male/female but allowed those two to compete together? Just seemed a little odd.

reply

They reminded me of the twins in "The Shining", teenage version....creepy!

reply

Yep! They creeped me out even when I first saw this film, back in 1985!!!

Definitely creepy!

and they are twins? I assume it is filler space? Would have been better if it was another couple.
