Great first half

Started with great mystery and mood, plus absorbing performances with a pinch of comedy.

The second half is fine but it didn’t engage me as much with the goofiness of Peter Vincent and the drawn out gore effects.

The Lost Boys did a better job of sustaining a similar tone throughout the runtime.

Still, a lot of fun and reminded me that I’m not just getting old - modern films objectively have none of the charm of 80’s popcorn fun.

Valid points. I see by your low post count your Movie Chat spirit hasn't been broken yet.

Thanks. How does one’s spirit get broken here?

reply

Oh you'll find out in no time! haha

reply

I look forward to it.

Just learn to ignore the ones who dont offer any real movie analysis. Your spirit is only broken when you realize you no longer come here to talk about movies but instead engage with trolls in argument. Thats my take on it anyway.

reply

I come here to do both, and it's very enjoyable.

I've had a troll post or two, all in good fun as seen by most I think. But I usually stick to movie analysis.
