This movie reminds me of a Magnum, P.I. episode from 1983

Season 3, episode 21: The Big Blow.

The setting is a dinner party that takes place at night during a storm. The guests arrive one by one, and they've all been invited for a specific reason (because they all have a possible motive to murder Robin Masters), but don't know why they were invited. Magnum investigated them all in advance, but he doesn't let on that he knows anything about them until the end. His job is to figure out who is planning to murder Robin Masters and catch him or her in the act.

There are even unexpected/uninvited guests who end up there due to their car breaking down or getting stuck nearby.

Is there a famous book or movie that perhaps Clue and the Magnum, P.I. episode both took inspiration from? Maybe something by Agatha Christie? I've never read any of her books or seen any of the movies based on her books, but she was mentioned several times throughout the Magnum, P.I. series; the Thomas Magnum character was a fan of her.

I looked into it and "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie was almost certainly the inspiration for Clue, and probably the Magnum, P.I. episode as well. I haven't read the book, but I just watched the 1945 movie adaption of it. Clue could almost be considered to be one of the many movie adaptions of it.
