I was wondering if anyone knew where the Police HQ station is located in the new series of Taggart and is it different to the old series back in the 1980's?
Any informaton will be great.
Well, the series from 2005 was using the James Weir Building of Strathclyde University as the Police station, so I presume they still are and always have been.

Hi, The Police Station in the series is the Colville building (the white building half way up the hill behind the Graham hill's building) of the Strathclyde University just of George Street and the original Station exterior was I think the Pitt Street Police Station just at the top of Pitt Street, both in Glasgow City Center, hope this helps.
shareThe police station has been all over the place, to be honest - as well as the various different buildings in Strathclyde University mentioned, the former police station and attached cell block in Govan was used for a while. This has since been converted into business units.
shareAnd to confuse things even more, the one facade that was stone on a hill was also the building where Sea of Souls had their offices at the university, haha.
