Most Redeemed Character

I didn’t like David Marcus, played by Merritt Butrick, in The Wrath of Khan, and still don’t, mainly because he’s just a bland character in that movie and doesn’t strike me as the son of Captain James T. Kirk. But he redeems himself here, especially in his final courageous act — sacrificing everything for Saavik — just as Kirk & crew do for Spock.
