Why wasn't Apolonia a bigger star

She was the best "actor" in the movie. The others brought their personality, but she brought acting chops.
I thought after the movie she would zoom to the top....maybe she didn't want the stardom?

Totally disagree (and BTW, she was an actress and not an actor).

Although she was exotically gorgeous, which was primarily why she was cast in this leading lady role, she was far from a talented actress. She didn't have much personality and couldn't emote lines very well ("And you ...what do YOU dream about?)

However, she was able to parlay her instant stardom with work on the 80s' hit TV series "Falcon Crest" where she had a recurring role. And I guess after the show's demise, her "acting" career did as well.

"Actor" is not incorrect to refer to a female actor fyi.

Agreed. Even after they broke up, I'm like couldn't Vanity and Prince just stick together and fake it out for the film.

Don't play games with a girl who can play better.

Disaagree on both counts. Appollonia was a diva in her own right, and Vanity's movie career wasn't huge. In truth she only had one blockbuster movie--"The Last Dragon."

She was ok in the movie but I couldn't see her going on to be an A-list actress not even B-list.

I believe vanity started having drug issues whn she started hanging out w nikki sixx from motley crue who was a well known herion addict...

Clarence Williams III was in the movie and you pick freaking Apolonia Kotero as the BEST THESPIAN?! I guess you mean “thespian with big boobs.”
