"Boy in the corner" scene a total rip-off (sorry, homage^^) of DON'T LOOK NOW

... Seriously, I totally saw Donald Sutherland standing in that old Venetian palace at the climax of that fabulous movie from 1973, talking softly to the gnome figure in red sobbing in the corner (and we all know how that turned out). DON'T LOOK NOW, now THAT is one hell of a movie, unparalleled in morbid atmosphere, melancholy dread and sheer horror. A true and honest masterpiece.

For the carbon copy of this scene in PHENOMENA, the best I can say is that Mr. Argento paid due respect and homage to Master director Roeg here... since -sorry to say this, fans! - he and his film come off more like Ed Wood here...PLAN NINE FROM SWITZERLAND...
