Heartbreaking

Spoilers:

This is a a heartbreaking story for Tarzan, John. Once he returns to civilization, he has three big losses through the film. First is his friend Captain D'Arnot leaves him alone with his grandfather and his Grandfather's ward, Jane. Then the Grandfather, who happens to be quite enduring, dies after sliding down the stairs on a maid's tray. Finally and most tragically, he loses his Ape Father after he finds him imprisoned in the museum.

That's a big burden for any character. It was genuinely sad and Chritoper Lambert handled the role very well. I enjoyed the fact that when his grandfather died, he cried out in Ape noises. When his Ape Father died, he cried out in English. Nice touch.
