Any movies similar to this?

Ok, so rather embarrassingly i really like this movie. I have quite a fondness of cheesy 80's slashers like this one, The Burning, Friday the 13th, Sleepaway Camp 1,2,3, Mortuary etc.

Does anyone know of any good 80's slashers like Fatal Games that i should watch?

Oh boy, do I ever! I consider myself vastly knowledgeable in 80s Slasher sub-genre, and I've compiled a list for you based on all of the titles that I've seen. If you have any questions concerning any of them, I'll be happy to answer them.

Hide and Go Shriek (1988)
Hospital Massacre (1982)
Humongous (1982)

The Prowler (1981)
The Silent Scream (1980)
There Was a Little Girl (1981)
To All a Good Night (1980)
Unhinged (1982)

The 1970s (Here are a few of the more well known titles from this period, but I know for a fact that others exist):

Drive In Massacre (1976)
Halloween (1978)
Scream Bloody Murder (1973)
Silent Night, Bloody Night (1974)
The Driller Killer (1979)
The Toolbox Murders (1978)
The Town That Dreaded Sundown (1976)
When a Stranger Calls (1979)

Here are some 80s Slashers that I have not had the pleasure of viewing yet; they are worth mentioning, however:

Blood Frenzy (1987)
Blood Hook (1986)
Blood Rage (1987)
Body Count (1986)
Deadly Blessing (1981)
Death Screams (1982)
Don't Go in the House (1980)

Evil Laugh (1988)
Fatal Games (1984)
Hollow Gate (1988)
Killer Party (1986)
Memorial Valley Massacre (1988)
Night Warning (1983)
Offerings (1989)
Splatter University (1984)
The Dorm That Dripped Blood (1981)
The Initiation (1984)
The Last Slumber Party (1988)
Too Scared to Scream (1985)
Visiting Hours (1982)

I hope this information helps you. Obviously some of these titles spawned quite a number of films that formed a franchise but I haven't included the titles that roamed into the 90s. The Slumber Party Massacre, Prom Night, and the Sleepaway Camp series are just brief reminders of that. Of course there's always the more popular flavor of Halloween and Friday the 13th. It's also worth noting that quite a few of these films have been remade recently (or currently in production as we speak) - I don't know if you're aware of any of those, so I apologize if I sound condescending or a know-it-all. I'm just trying to be helpful is all!

Have a good day!

That is quite an impressive list thanks for posting it.

While I didn't think the first one or third one were great I think Sorority House Massacre II (1990) is a similar movie with a bunch of nudity and tons of cheese

Here are some that I didn't see on your impressive list:

The 60s:

"Psycho" (1960)
"Dementia 13" (1963)

The 70s:

"A Bay of Blood" (1971)
"Home for the Holidays" (1972)
"Torso" (1973)
"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974)
"Black Christmas" (1974)
"Schizo" (1976)
"Savage Weekend," which was shot in 1976, but not released until 1979.

The 80s:

"Midnight," which was shot in 1980 but not released until 1982, written & directed by the screenwriter of the hallowed "Night of the Living Dead" (1968); he also made the superior...
"The Majorettes," which was released in Italy in 1986, the UK in 1987 and the USA in 1988 (on video).

If you mean very cheesy slasher you should try FINAL EXAM, CHEERLEADER CAMP and KILLER WORKOUT...

They are bad but funny in their way so you might like it

If you speak french try my site too, http://bis.cinemaland.net

Aerobicide aka Killer Workout is just like Fatal Games, they both have a fitness theme going, although the motives of the killers are much different between the two films. I like both of them, Aerobicide has a good soundtrack, which is one of the other similarities between the two they both have a theme song.
