What was the 'scary moment'?

I found this line in the Wiki article for Blood Simple:

"The film also placed #73 on Bravo's 100 Scariest Movie Moments."

What was the specific moment that was so scary?

I mean, I loved the movie and it was a great thriller but what was the moment to which the list refers?

That scene invoked memories of Jack Nicholson's bathroom invasion in "The Shining"...............now that would have to be one of the scariest movie scenes ever (technically there were 2 scary bathroom invasions in "The Shining" but I was referring to the 2nd one near the end!!??).

Nah, the first one with the old woman is the stuff of nightmares.

But actually the Blood Simple scene reminded me of Roy Batty breaking through the wall in blade runner.

Him reaching around the window, her stabbing and pinning his hand to the window sill then the shots start coming through the wall. That was a pretty tense few minutes.

The holes made it look like he was firing a 50mm canon.
