The whisk is an old sex joke. Back in the day (1970s, 1980a), when movies and TV shows joked about kinky sex, they would always have the guy whip out an egg beater or something weird like that. Don't ask me why. 

Anyway, you weren't supposed to imagine what would be done with the beater. The point was that you were supposed to see it and "get" that either the guy was a pervert or the couple was about to get into some weird, kinky *beep* (like whips, chains, etc.).
