Had the series not ended...

...It's interesting to think that if their production company, Goldcrest, hadn't gone bankrupt leaving the 3rd series ending oddly, what storylines would Kip Carpenter have come up with? Or should he have?

Spirit of 1066? Ghostly warriors of that old battle helping them? Might mirror the episode in the Welsh castle where King Arthur and the ghostly knights of the Round table appear to them?

Or some great story to tie up the series?
