La Piovra is a cult series all over Europe. I see it selling very well in North America, which has millions of immigrants from eastern Europe, where the show's following was religious. With all the garbage released on DVD daily, why not release a masterpiece like La Piovra? Or is it available somewhere, somehow? If so, I'm willing to pay any non-ridiculous amount of money for it!

I'm trying to get the series myself with no luck.
All that I could find were 3 episodes in german on kazza no subtitles.
I would love to buy it but I couldn't find it anywhere.
If somebody can do that I will be his slave for the rest of my life ( :P )

I just saw it on eBay, UK version (means english :-) in PAL format though. But I dont mind, my DVD can play anything. Good luck

I would pay good money for these series on dvd dubbed in English or Russian, hell subtitles are fine too.

I have now sent an email to the Multicultural Broadcasting Station SBS.com.au (who are advertising them and showed the series) to see whether the rest will be available soon, i have seen these 2 for $46 (Australian) per season in our largest local DVD Supplier,

La Piovra is available in FNAC stores in Portugal.(www.fnac.pt)
FNAC is in many countries in Europe.
So shouldn´t be difficult to find it.
I don´t know about subtitles beyond portuguese.
I have found "the prequel" (the best part of "la piovra" series for me) in here http://oas2000.proxis.be/gate/jabba.sg.s?p_link=A024690&p_mi=8954015 and seems to me that is in English (but not the subtitles) "Originele Taal : Engels Ondertiteling : Nederlands". Besides that there is a list of actors on the page(English names)So I supose that is dubbed in English...If anyone here wants to order this, please post here your feedback.
The second series was aired in the UK with dubbing instead of subtitles - it was RUINED, I was unable to watch it.

This place do ship overseas, so if you have a DVD player that plays Region 4, and PAL format, you could try to order from this place.
It looks like the company is releasing a new season every 4 months....
Season 4 was released in Australia in September 2007 and Season 5 will be available at the end of January 2008 in Australia. A further season will be released in Australia every quarter until all 10 seasons are available.
