Damn, this movie GOT me!

So, I thought I had this movie figured out from the very beginning, probably like many of you. And, having grown up as an outcast/the weird, quiet kid in my school, I found myself sympathizing with Paul and his feelings towards Angela. Kept thinking Angela would have been my type of girl at that age. "She would've understood me", I thought, while most of the girls I grew up with were like Judy and Meg. But damn, would I have "lost my head"!
