Something I just noticed while watching.....

I've seen this movie countless times over the years, but it wasn't until I watched it recently that I noticed a hidden gag scattered throughout the movie, involving someone known only as 'Muffy'.

If anyone has the dvd with commentary, I'd be curious to know if they mention the reason behind these Muffy references.

Here are the ones I picked up:

French class scene - 'Muffy gives French' written on chalkboard.
Girls locker room door - 'Muffy puts out' being painted over.
Melvin caught in meat locker - 'Muffy loves meat' on box behind Melvin.
Library scene - Row of books all called 'Muffy's men'.
Airplane bottle smashing - 'Coffee, Tea or Muffy' written on plane.
Strip club - 'Coming Soon: Muffy' written on light up sign.
Homecoming - The elusive and promiscuous Muffy is revealed! Just after Stuckoff introduces Purity to sing the anthem, you see her clapping. She is wearing glasses and a yellow top with 'I'm Muffy' written on it, and a phone number.

Does the audio commentary actually exist? I remember a topic someone asked about it and a reply was that the DVD rear cover says it has commentary, but it was not on the DVD at all.
