According to the director their distributor completely re-edited the final release print, adding all the cheesy overlayed "chanting indian head" effects and close ups of the lion headed ghost, as well as the flashbacks which completely screwed up any surprises, so this might have been a lot better if all that hadn't happened.
That being said though it may have at best ended up being worth a 5.
I doubt it.
I have seen a video of a zebras ass looped for 24 hours and it was better.
