Media sound effect

I love the sound effect that is always playing every time there is a scene involving the press. It resembles the sound a rattlesnake makes. Now, I know the director would probably say it's the sound of the motion picture cameras they are using, but I get the subliminal message he is getting across. Reporters are dirty, slimy snakes.
