Who were you in love with?

Sodapop in the book and Dally in the movie. Matt Dillon was so attractive and he played the part of Dally so well.

After seeing the film I have to agree, definitely Dally all the way. I use to have such a huge crush on Matt Dillon in my teens anyway so I guess it's fitting LOL

Two-bit. The book and the movie.

Around the time I was into the book/movie (1983/1984), I was 10/11, and my older sister was 14/15. She was totally into Ponyboy/Tommy Howell.

When I *first* read the book (age 10), I wasn't particularly attracted to any of them; I just loved the storyline and the emotional angst of the boys in general. Eventually, though, I developed a crush on Rob Lowe/Soda from the movie. I was not into Matt Dillon at all.

In adulthood, I think Dally is so damn hot it isn't even funny. I mean, I'm not even one to generally drool over celebs, but watching him in The Outsiders, I just want to have sex with him badly. lol.

I read the book in 6th grade and then teacher took the class to see the movie. My first crush was on Dallas Winston:) I had my parents buy the VHS tape and I cried at Dally's death scene every time lol. Now I just caught it on Cable after all these years and as an adult I'm thinking how hot Darry (Patrick Swayze) was in this.

In the book and movie, It was Dally and Darry. Dally was tough and sexy. And Darry was tough, but well together and responsible, plus I like how he was so strict with Pony because he cared so much, and it made him overbearing, though he didn't mean to be. I have a thing for older brother types that love and look out for their younger brother.

Soda was the same, but I just didn't crush on him. Maybe because he already had a girlfriend lol And Dally, I like that he was tough and took no crap. but as far as friends go, he'd have your back.Not to say he wasn't an ass lol

I think Darry was the 1st. He ain't the only big brother I took a liking to. In one series I watch, I crush on 2 villains, who are nothing nice, but they're brothers and love each other-if nobody else. And when little bro is seriously hurt, nothing will piss off big brother quicker. Another villain sees big brother going crazy, and 1st thing is says is that someone must have did something to his brother.
