Why is this movie's music so bad?

Bond music, so bold, brassy. Here music is tepid and weak.
I realize producers had to deviate from the main Bond Franchise, but this was so odd to watch.

It's not bad - but it is wrong for the movie. And the song is so awful it probably taints your recollection of the score.

This happens... Check out Ennio Morricone (Great, award winning composer) with Red Sonja... Hell, the most appropriate music in Island was a bit of Wagner they added. - And John Barry did not help The Black Hole any.

My favorite musical score of any Bond movie
