... Ensemble, at the Brighton Dome concert hall.

I saw PG conduct KQ with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and a choir, with the film screened behind them, at the Royal Festival Hall on London's South Bank in spring 1989.

From lunchtime on, me and Mr KK1 had been sinking pints at our E2 local and we then shared a few powdered smokes whilst travelling to the RFH (top of the no.8 bus and then crossing over the Thames at the Hungerford footbridge).

We tidied up our posh clobber, put our straight faces on, knocked back coffee etc and then went into the auditorium and took our seats. Justas we did, the flabby, face-stretched, over-dressed mare sitting in front of us lifted a cheek and let out the most enormous, reverberating fart. The volume and timbre of the emanation was quite something. We dissolved in giggles and snorts right up until the lights went down.

But the sillies was soon forgotten p the following 2 hours was one of the best evenings out we ever had.

21 years ago. Holy effing ess.

I realize this is a months old post, but I am indescribably jealous that you got to experience that....Especially with the LIVE accompaniment. I'm just getting into the music and film, and I find it absolutely terrific.
