Jan 29th: Well here we go again. Christmas is so far away but i am sure if we can ever get these first few months over with it will be back before you know it. This countdown will serve as a way to check in throughout the year and countdown to the next marathon for A Christmas Story. I use this website for the countdown www.xmasclock.com. Oh man January is taking forever; hopefully the next three months will fly buy. 330 days until the next marathon!

shareMarch 26th: Spring is here and it is getting warm outside. We did our first mow a couple weeks ago. The worst part of year is over! Summer will fly by as usual and Fall will not be far behind. This is the second week of quarantine and i wonder what it will be like in a couple of months from now. It will be a weird year for sure. Be safe everyone. 273 days left!

June 14th: Well we are almost halfway through the year. We are 193 days away from this years Christmas. I hope between now and then i can find a Nintendo Switch to buy for my boys. It has been a crazy year but seems to be finally getting somewhat back to normal. Seven days to the summer solstice and the days start getting shorter and Sam Adams Octoberfest will be out in 6 weeks!
shareJuly 27th: The Halloween candy has been out for a couple weeks now. It is strange to see it with it being 100 degrees outside almost everyday but at least it is a reminder that fall is right around the corner. Only 150 days left and in a month and a half it will be down to the double digits. To me the anticipation of the holidays is almost as good as the actual holidays.
shareSept. 21st: 94 days remaining. We finally made it to the double digits! Halloween is in full swing. We put or decorations out yesterday. It is getting colder much earlier this year. We turned our heat on for the first time on 9/18. It has been in the low 50's for the last week. I love this weather. Enjoy it everyone. This is the best time of the year.
shareOct. 24th: Well we are about to mow the lawn for the last time this year. Those little onions keep coming up making the yard look bad. We are 61 days away!. Man this year has been the fastest one yet. I look forward to some of the regulars joining the board again.
shareDec. 10th: Holy cow only 14 days left until the marathon returns. The board is starting to pick up the last couple of weeks. I hope everyone is enjoying the season. I have to get to work on a batch of eggnog and my Christmas playlist. Only two weeks left of Christmas music:(
