Scared The Hell Out Of Me!
When I first saw this as a kid. I could not sleep without the light on for weeks. I was afraid to walk out of my bed without double checking underneath my bed. Afraid a snake was waiting for me. lol
You should watch "Trilogy of Terror". It was a 70's tv movie and had 3 separate stories. Sounds like the last one with Karen Black about the voodoo doll is right up your alley. You can usually find it on YouTube.
