I was wondering if anyone knows how many Razzie nominations this film received upon release because it really should have swept the awards that year.

Morgan Fairchild was nominated as worst actress in 1982 but the winner was Pia Zadora for Butterfly. Odd, too, since Morgan was actually very good in The Seduction, particularly at the end where she turns the tables on Andrew Stevens.

She certainly did NOT deserve a Razzie nomination, much less an award. I've always been under the impression that Morgan Fairchild was a bad actress, but after watching this again, I think she's pretty good here. This isn't a great film, but it's entertaining and Morgan makes it work.

She was actually nominated for two Razzies, Worst Lead Actress and Worst New Star. Colleen Camp was also nominated for Worst Supporting Actress.

None of the actors in this movie deserved any Razzies, The cast was fine, The Razzies are bullshit TBH.

I agree with this completely. The cast did well in this. Morgan Fairchild was good in the role.
