I know it's kind of a stupid question, but I'm curious, how many of you have actually seen or heard of this movie without the influence of the Nostalgia Critic?
I was probably 6 or 7 years old when I first saw it, in the late 90's. I used to rent it at Blockbuster a lot since then. Was a HUGE Don Bluth fan back when I was little.

Hm... it's hard to say. I was probably seven when I first saw Secret of NIMH, so twenty years ago,'95 or '96.

So, I have to do a little figuring out here. Released in '82 and I was about 8 probably since my birthday falls in February (now you all know how old I am at the time this is posted). I don't remember seeing this in the theatre or drive-in, though it is possible. I'm going to assume I saw it in cable, probably HBO on channel 6 back then, in late '82 to '83.I'm going to say I was about 9 the first time I saw it. For some reason I thought I was younger.
This was always a favorite of mine and was thrilled when I saw it on just now.
It was a little before my time, so I didn't see it until just recently (31yo).
Don Bluth wad cool in the 80's, but really fell (probably due to studio intervention).
If you're happy and you know it, go sit in the corner and think about your life.
I was 7 and it was love at first sight.
