Thank you, Bub!
I'm going to show it to my wife tonight, on the basis that it's one of his "least gory." I also just saw "Cat in the Brain," and LOVED it. Gory as hell!

How is "Murder Rock?" I saw it in a DVD shop in B'more, but couldn't grab it at the time.

No one makes horror like the French!

It's one of his weaker efforts in horror... I can list 12 better Fulci horror flicks... with that said, it's still good.

reply

It wasn't too bad. I would've liked if the plot made more sense but the atmosphere and visuals were good at least. I've seen a lot worse.

reply

I think it's one of his weaker movies

Some of the score sounds like it’s directly from The Beyond. But I do have to say Fulci’s camera work is great in this, especially in the Egypt scenes.

There was defiantly some weird assed things going on for sure, like those birds of darkness in the end. They had the most powerful beaks ever and sounded like people. Christopher Connelly has strange powers in almost every movie he’s in too. His wife or girlfriend is almost always half his age for some reason.

This one is just full of unexplainable things.
