Is there any Herzog/Kinski production that isn't dubbed?

I've seen Cobra Verde, Aguirre and Fitzcarraldo and they've been dubbed. I hate it because it ruins everything for me.

Is there any movie with Kinski that Herzog directed which isn't dubbed? It's kind of silly to dub - it must've taken twice as long to make those films.

All of them are dubbed, as was the traditional way of making european films back then. The same goes for his other feature films from this era. That being said, Kinski did dub himself in Fitzcarraldo in both english and german. Not sure about Cobra Verde, but i think so too.

It's hard to watch when the actor's/actresses's lips aren't syncing.

I wouldn't say it is specifically a European thing. I think the German public (as in a bunch of other countries) are very used to see Hollywood movies dubbed into their own language and thereby they're very used to the lips not syncing. I'd say Herzog works in the same tradition, being quite careless about the audio being very very soundboard-y and being out of sync.

Being from the Netherlands myself, where I grew up with subtitles and thereby being used and more keen on original and well synced audio, I also find it very hard to watch with audio being out of sync and it does indeed spoils the experience. Especially with Herzogs intended intensity, which works well in the dialogues, settings, well, in everything basically but the sound. Bummer.

Woyzeck isn't dubbed.

And Kinski shouldn't be dubbed in many of Nosferatu as well.
Herzog shot the dialogue scenes twice for the German and English version.

The version I watched last night just had subtitles.
