I wonder if the director of Weekend at berines had saw "The Beach Girls" because most of these scenes in the beach girls, are way similar to Weekend At Bernies, example A beach house plot, The asian limo driver in this movie was Bernie Lomax's I think handyman in Weekend At Bernie's, Catherine Mary Stewart who played Richard's love intrest in Weekend At Bernies, played one of the sufer girls, in the beach girls, and one scene in this movie where Uncle Carl was passed out, the cop thought he was dead and they carryied him back to his bedroom as Larry & Richard to Bernie's dead body all trough the movie.

Yeah, it was just Weekend at Bernie's came to mind when I was watching The Beach Girls.

Comparing The Beach Girls with Weekend at Brainless Burny’s is like comparing Sevruga caviar with dog shit.
