Starz added this and Season of the Witch...

So, needless to say, I was very excited. Even with H3 and it's many flaws, I still enjoy it. It has that great 80s Mid-America feel, and it has a few decent moments.

However, that's not why I'm posting. I'm actually just here to complain about how every Premium Cable Channel(I just stream them) NEVER has the 2.35 Aspect Ratio! It more than irritates me. Sure, there are certain films that still look OK in the 17x9. In the Digital Age, it's easier to clean up newer films... But with ANY Carpenter Film, it should ALWAYS be shown in its true ratio. Yes, this is technically a Rosenthal film(But we know Carpenter was heavily involved) but with Cundey, the look of the film is on par with the original. I was highly upset. HBO did the same with 'They Live.' Other than Netflix or Amazon, Showtime is the only channel that stays true to the Aspect Ratio, and for me that's a huge deal. I know people buy big TVs and complain that they aren't seeing the full picture etc but it's time to move past those morons and start showing films as they were meant to be! I know, I'm rambling here but It's a big deal. I certainly can see the difference in resolution and it still has a bit of Pan and Scan, although not nearly like it used to be. Still... This needs to be done with! End of rant.

That's cool. Its one of my favorite sequels and I'm glad it's getting respect.
