The presence of the hairy mutant Alph who eats toes and wears a bowler hat added an extra campy kick to this film.

Yeah, it's a great little film.

Great? Maybe in the so bad it's good category.

Even for the time the gore effects were laughable.

And I vividly remember a scene where the grass the actors were running through was on fire, and you could clearly see a props guy actually setting the fire.
