This movie actually scared me.

This is kind of a repost, but I just wanted to say that this movie actually genuinely scared me. I couldn't sleep at night after watching this. The only other movie that has actually scared me is the exorcist and that was when I was like 15 years old (i'm much older now).

If you watch this movie by yourself in the dark I think you will be scared too.

I think all the people that say this movie is absolutely not scary must have been watching this during the day or with a whole bunch of other people that can laugh at the movie.

I watched this film back in the 80's, when I was 12, I think, and it scared the hell out of me. It still scares me and I'm 42! There's only two other movies that scared me like this one, The Exorcist and Nosferatu (by Murnau). I remember I first saw Nosferatu when I was 15. I was home alone, it was late at night and there was a hell of a storm outside. I decided to watch the movie with all the lights out - I thought "it's an old black and white, mute film, how scary can it be?" Turns out it was scary as hell! Man, I've never been so scared by a movie in my life! But The Entity came pretty close.

Agreed. it's hard to be anywhere alone, most notably in the dark, after watching this. Makes you question if ghosts are real, and how often are they with us?

Close your eyes, give me your hand...

This is the only movie I find scary. The only one!

This is a rare title that still scare's me to this day. I was almost 28 when I first saw this as a midnight movie, and man was I paranoid for months after. I eagerly await the next time I might encounter the picture, but boy! There isn't enough one can do to get over it. The only other picture to scare me as well is ALIEN. I feel, personally, that the sheer realism to both pictures plays an integral part in the art with which both were crafted and produced. Truly remarkable work all around.

When will you ever learn, this feeling is all you can discern?

This movie scared me as a child along with The Exorcist The Amityville Horror & It's Alive,,I was 5 when I saw it,,that baby is still creepy looking!
I've seen all the Paranormal Activity movies imo there wasn't anything scary about them.
