The French disc mentioned is excellent quality. I'm just gutted that the 50 minute documentary on Burt Lancaster is overdubbed into French. I would have loved to be able to watch it as Burt documentary's are rare.

Available from Kino Lorber now & I've already ordered my copy. It's a film I'd despaired of ever finding on DVD, one that deserves to be better known.
