It’s sad that is an example of how America was and still is. This is a perfect example of how the majority in America sees the minorities. People are dark color are just loathed by society. I thought Undercover Brother was racist, but this one takes the cake. And that’s without usage of the N word amazingly. I have seen other movies that glorify and display racism, but this one is more disturbing because EVERYBODY is that way in the film.

Anyways, I just got around to seeing this movie (yeah I know, it took my over 25 years lol). I am trying to see all movies Denzel has been in, and I am almost done.

It's called satire. It's "racist" in same way All In The Family was "racist".

I think the OP missed the point. This movie shows how George Segal's character overcomes the racism of his peers to accept his son.
