SEASON 9 // THE LAST SEASON WAS THE WORST ?

Yeah baby it was and only it can be compared to boring season 1.

first of all there was little of alexis and Krystle in it......then we had a police officer taking major role sleeping with fallon which sucked.

then it was kind of weird to see colbys members in to the mix and while I love sable the overall result to have a baby with dex.....and monica have no real story in season 9 was boring.

the roger grimes story was good as the cliffhanger which although was intense it left the series without a clear ending WHICH ENRAGED THE FANS WHO WANTED AN ENDING AND THANK GOD WE GOT THE REUNION 2 YEARS LATER SO TO HAVE A PROPER ENDING TO THE SERIES WITH BLAKE AND KRYSTLE DANCING AND THE FAMILY TOGETHER AGAIN.

There was the sick Jeff/Monica incest storyline, very little of Krystle and Alexis, and less glamour. The season sucked.

yeah that was the idea but it was droped as jeff never had an affair with monica and it was all a scheme adam pulled but anyways it was clarified that monica was not Jason's daughter (as also miles) so she could have an affair with jeff anyways.....but like u said.....this season...SUCKED.

The reunion was horrifically bad. I try to block it out of my mind. The hideous mansion interior. The Adam replacement and Fallon not being how she was in season 9. The fashion empire crap no oil companies, and Sammy Jo being back to bratty tramp. Steven coming back with his face in the form of Al Corley. Guess the plastic surgery didn't last. And him being at odds with Blake over being gay. Steven left abruptly in season 8 and the reunion could have built on his return to his family and finally coming to terms with himself being gay as he always wasn't sure whT he wanted. Then he could have apologized to the Sammy Jo of season 9 and they could have made amends but realized they couldn't be together and Steven could be finally be happy being a gay father. Kirby being there was stupid, where the hell was Amanda instead! and having no Sable was unforgivable. And that ending! The home movies! Sooooo
embarrassing to watch!

Season 9 was an A+ compared to the crap that was the reunion

hey psycko he liked season 9 more than the reunion not more than the seasons u hate.
the reunion was bad no one argues about it but it was a wrap up of the disgusting finale season 9 had. without the reunion we wouldn't know the end of the series.

I loved season 9...the Collection, Sable and possibility of Dominque's return.

I really like Season 1.

I do not think Season 9 was that great. They could have trimmed half the season and it would hardly make a difference IMO. Just keep all the good development and get rid of whatever did not contribute. I could write a list about what did not work. Instead, I will do the opposite (see below).

Only the Roger Grimes and lake plot made things interesting, particularly in the second half. Only Blake and Sammy Jo had much to work with; others had enough to do, but mostly held it together with their charisma (Alexis, Fallon, Sable and Adam).

That said, by the end of the season I was open to seeing how they would revitalize the series from then on.

Of course season 9 was not good. only dynasty haters like Prometheus praise that auful season and exactly like u said it was only saved by the magic the cast still hold all those years.

I don't understand why so many seem to like/love this season. It's just complete crap. People seem to overpraise it just because they revisited the Grimes storyline and Fallon was feisty again. No. If you love the early seasons, you should hate this season.
