Carl Sagan predicted the Tea Party

I'm watching the original Cosmos today. In one of the episodes, he says (I'm paraphrasing here) "if we allow greed, or stupidity or superstition to influence us, we're doomed..." The "greed, stupidity or superstition" is verbatim. And so we have Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Rick Santorium and the Tea Party who believe in evolution and that the earth is 6,000 years old. Talk about stupidity and superstition!

Actually, "greed, stupidity, or superstition" sounds exactly like the apocolyptic enviro-freaks of today and their idiotic climate change religion.
