Soundtrack-ELO Fan

I heard the OLJ/ELO Title Song on an '80's radio show yesterday.Knowing it WAS a Movie theme, and having been an ELO fan from the '70's and '80's (although I've never seen this movie!) thought I'd check out the board today-I think ELO did some good tunes for this movie-I didn't even know "All over the world" and "I'm Alive" were from this soundtrack- could be worth getting a copy!
How does everyone else feel about the soundtrack?

Great soundtrack featuring two of my favourite artists,i was always going to love it.
Besides All Over The World and I'm Alive i really love ELO singing The Fall.
Olivia is absolutely stunning singing Magic and Suspended In Time is great also,Olivia also sings with The Tubes in Dancin which is a stunning song with the merging of the 40's and 80's bands.
Also Olivia and ELO combine brilliantly for the title track Xanadu.

Jeff Lynne is an absolute genius when it comes to writing & producing songs. He definitely has a musical ear and knows what his audience likes to hear. Big fan of ELO from way back & all of their stuff here just shines.

Yeah ELO are just awesome.
The music in this movie is amazing and Olivia is so hot - It's just a great combination!!!
Yes you have to own a copy of this soundtrack if you are a fan of Electric Light Orchestra - I do!!

This soundtrack combined two of my three favourite artists, ELO and Olivia.

If you trek out to your local department store, there's a special edition of XANADU with the CD soundtrack packaged within.

If you go to Wal-Mart, there's a special two-pack with XANADU and MOMMA MIA! which does contain the special edition.

But the CD kinda defeats the original intentions of the soundtrack of Vinyl and Cassette which had the ELO songs on one side and the Olivia Newton John songs on the other side.

I "discovered" ELO thanks to this movie. Previously, I had only heard "Last Train to London", their biggest and most enduring hit on this corner of the world. Once I got the "Xanadu" soundtrack and loved it (still do), I HAD to purchase everything this great band had recorded, and instantly became a huge fan.
