there was a moment that he gave me gay vibes, when he told his friend if Jamie Lee Curtis's character dumps him (his friend). His friend would still have Doc. I'm in the middle of the movie and dont want to be spoiled so I avoided the other threads.

Just finished watching this, haven't seen it in a while, and I thought the same thing in that scene. And Doc's genuinely heartbroken reaction when Mo is killed. He definitely could have been in love with Mo, or confused, or bisexual. It was a nice touch - intended or not - in characterization for a slasher film.
