Arkin's potential career killer?

Alan Arkin went from The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming to this useless waste of celluloid. I must say that when I watched this movie back in 1980 I said that this was undoubtedly the worst movie ever made. Well, after 25 years I will say that this was undoubtedly the worst movie ever made! I have forgiven Alan, but it took 25 years. I was scarred forever after seeing this fiasco. Come on, does anyone at all like this mess? Scene77

It's one of my favorite movies of all time. I watched it in the theater and loved it. I bought the VHS and watched it several times. Recently I bought the DVD and watched it again last night with one of my grandsons and one of my sons. We all loved it. It is good on SOOOOO many levels. Politics. Media. Science. Accountability. I loved it when he won the Nobel Peace Prize. And I hate those little packets of ketchup and I hate those blow driers in the bathrooms and I firmly believe that all politicians should be required to wear clown hats...

I am not crazy about SIMON but it certainly isn't a career killer. Ever see CHU CHU AND THE PHILLY FLASH? Now THAT is an Arkin career killer. Wow that is an awful movie.

Career killer!? This movie is hilarious, AND his career still "lives". What are you talking about?
