So, who unlocks the door when Jack is trapped in the storeroom, if not a physical manifestation of Grady? And if we accept that as physical manifestation, is Danny's neck definitely caused by the woman in Room 237?
shareI think it was a manifestation of Grady. Jack definitely had something spilled on him, so the two "worlds" were able to interact.
So, which woman hurt Danny? The crazy chopped up lady? Or the pretty one?

Grady unlocked the door. It could have been Danny when he was in a trance and Wendy was sleeping but given all the supernatural occurrences we witness during the film there is no reason to think anything else opened it up.
We are shown that telepathy exists with Hallorann talking to Danny with it and then explaining what it is. So I'm not sure why people fight to claim the apparitions are all in the characters' heads. Once one supernatural condition is introduced there's no longer a reason to believe others cannot exist.
Danny's neck is the same deal. The hag did it.
