Remake coming?

For years and years this was a hard movie to find on tv, but lately it's been on a few of the movie channels a couple times a week. (Watching it for second time tonight). It definitely has developed a cult following. They wouldn't be showing so often now if people weren't watching, so it's got me wonderin if hollywood is testing the waters
