I whooped for joy when I found this on DVD a few years ago and scooped it right up!!! This movie is as good as I remember it being when I was a kid! God after watching it again I forgot about the crush I had on Candy (One of Leon's girls)! Great movie indeed!!!!

FAGABEEFE?! Hey Melio, a FAGABEEFE!"

One of my favorite movies. I found the finish line, the L.A. Bonaventure Hotel, in Google Earth. If you want a picture of it, post a reply here with your email and I will send it.

I would bet all of us who love this movie are around the same age. I'm 38. It played on HBO non-stop when I was probably 9 or 10 and I watched it every time I could. I found the dvd in a drugstore or a walmart a few years back for 5 bucks. I was amazed at how much I remembered from when I was a kid.

My sister & I used to watch this movie when we were kids. I'd almost forgotten about it until she sent me a DVD of it for my birthday a couple of years ago.

Funny for nostalgic purposes but that's about it. :p

It's a *CLASSIC!* I'm proud to admit that I've turned my nieces and nephews on to it.

I LOVE this movie! I even bought it so my kids could watch it with me - now they know the lines too - "Venus' two moons", "there's a chair, so that's chair, there's an E so that's E, and a pin, so that's point - cherry point" and they are only 7 and 9. We love this movie - it's a classic! We like to drive past the Bonaventure hotel so that we can see the finish line whenever we visit LA.

Just watched it with my 13 year old nephew. We loved it. He couldn't believe they had to find phones or that the car phone was a big deal. If you think about it, at his age cell phones have always been here.

He liked the clothes, the skates, the college the teams. We both loved that Disney was "real". Loved the beer and the mysogeny!
