My wife convinced me to watch it because she loved it when she was 7...mistake.

I hated everything about this movie and felt as if I was on Mystery Science Theater the whole time. There were so many things that annoyed me about this movie I can't even list them all.

I would rather scratch out my eyeballs with a dull razor blade than have to sit through this raw sewage again

I must agree. A co-worker (who must've been one of the scores of people who loved this movie when they were kids) recommended it when we were talking "classic" 80s movies. I just watched it and, mid-way through, dubbed it "The Worst Movie I Have Ever Seen." It was unfunny and dumb. And I LIKE goofy movies! Police Academy, Naked Gun, etc. I understand that some of y'all love it, and I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. One thing I will say for it is that it is the only live-action movie I've ever seen that I could totally imagine being a cartoon. (Maybe that's why the kids liked it...)

um... have you ever seen the following movies?

1. Howard the Duck
2. The Forgotten
3. The General's Daughter
4. The Video Dead
5. The Children

after you see ANY of those 5 movies..come back to me and tell me the same thing

I've seen the first three, and only Howard was worse.

What?!?!?!?! This is one of the funniest movies ever! Sure it's absurd, actually like a cartoon, but it was very funny. A classic!

I find it hard to believe that you can actually make that statement.

Yeh it was dumb and a kids movie, but labelling it the worst is a little stretch. I have seen far worse than this and thought this movie had its funny parts.

You can not say that you didnt laugh at least once during the movie, and if you have not then maybe you are wound a bit too tight.

Just my 2 cents.

I too laughed my *ss when I read the title of this thread. But I remember liking it 20 years ago.

It's not supposed to be a great drama. It's a scavenger hunt movie - and it's good for what it is.
