Favorite Scene

Has to be the scene in a quiet college library, full of people studying. A man (who looks A LOT like Robert Trebor) looks around devilishly, smirks, and says TO-MA-TO, then all hell broke loose.

The emergency meeting in the tiny meeting room

reply

The one where Dixon and Finletter are momentarily distracted by an emergency bulletin.

reply

Lol.
"To-may-to" "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"This is sickening... You sound like chapters from a self-help booklet! Prepare yourselves!""

reply

The Japanese scientist (whose voice is overdubbed). He has two great (and un-PC) lines in the briefing room scene:

"Actually, tomatoes are f*gs."
"I think he means fruits."

...followed by something about crushing the enemy, and accidentally knocking a picture of the USS Arizona into the aquarium.

reply

The hysterical shot of the tomatoes rolling all over victims in a grocery store.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

reply

I like the whole scene in the tiny meeting room; the bits with the badly dubbed Japanese scientist were a riot.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

reply

The scene with the old couple and their little grandson (timmy?). They talk in a bit of a monotone and describe how one of the tomatoes comes in and gobbles poor little timmy all up. lol.

reply

The scene where the black man who infiltrated the tomato camp asked 'would somebody please pass the ketchup'

reply

The library scene was the best. Although, I did like the small meeting room part.
