Cool late 70's movie

I generally like many of Val's TV films from back in the day. This one was sweet and touching. Due to the teen sex content, I can imagine it raised eyebrows in it's day. I was only 12 in 1979, but recall it a little bit. I was surprised to hear her song at the end of the film. She had a decent voice. She and Timothy had nice chemistry, it's too bad, they didn't do any other films together. I wonder if they dated in RL?
