Could've been a masterpirce


Some bad editing and sound choices mar it. There's a probably a much better longer cut out there somewhere. Good movie that could've been great.

Yeah, I noticed the poor cutting when Tom shoots someone. You don't see him fire and you don't see the target get hit, except Roy Jensen, sitting at table.

I noticed some audio looping,too.

I hoped for more in this film, given the quality of acting and McQueen's experience by then.

It was good to see some of the supporting actors, even down to the prosecutor. I didn't catch his name, but recognized his face. Pickens and Farnsworth were heart-tugging to see. Farnsworth played a character called "Slim" in the remake of "The Getaway." It's the same character Slim Pickens played in the McQueen - McGraw version of the same film. Pickens had passed away by then.

Pickens' role also reminded me of "Lon," the slimy deputy he played in "One-Eyed Jacks."
