I love this movie!!!

I'm watching this movie, as I type, and even after twenty-five-years,
it kicks ass!

Richard Benjamin, and in particular, his interaction with Richard Masur
is the highlight of the film and comedy at its finest.

While it would never have won any awards, the thing that's great about this movie is that it's cute and fun, moves along fast enough, and it suitable for the whole family. I loved it as a kid, and now have my burned to DVD copy as well.

I think what I like most about this movie is it puts me in a good mood and it just reminds me of being a kid and not having to worry about all the *beep* happening in the world. I don't hide form it, I work as a camera operator at a news station so all the time I here about the bad happening in the world and when I try to think of something that makes me feel good I think of this movie, it just brings a smile to my face just thinking about it. After reading all the other post here I think it may be my favorite comedy movie of all time. This movie reminds me of a bright SUNNY day in the summer from when I was a kid and not having a care in the world.

I saw it in the theater several times when it came out and bought the VHS (which I dubbed to DVD-R). Watching it never fails to put a smile on my face.

There are so many great lines from this classic gem. One I loved was this one:

Mildred Cruthers: [sobbing] He was like a brother to me.
Charles Bernstein: He was your brother.

Too stupid for me to enjoy -- even after it came out, when I was in early teens.
