I would like to know how ppl accually own this movie
I mean who bought it from the store
I have been looking for this movie to buy since 1980 and have not found a tape and now i can't find a dvd
Please help

I ordered this on vhs in the late '80's, I think. What I remember most about the purchase was that it cost me $60. I found it in a catalog in a music store, I think and ordered it. It's probably my favorite movie. Richard Benjamin's laugh when the safe lands in his car is priceless. It reminds me of Tom Hanks' laugh when the bathtub falls through the floor in "Money Pit," only it doesn't last as long.

I bought the VHS a few years ago from a store called "Best Sellers" that made a special order for me. My sister tried to order it a few weeks later and she was told that it was in moratorium and no longer available. I just transferred it recently to DVD and am very happy with the quality of it.

I have two copies - one that I had purchased years and years and years ago (because I loved it so much when I saw in theaters)

It's not on DVD and any DVD you find is a transfer from a VHS

You can get a very good used copy on Amazon - that is where my second one came from - and I will probably transfer that to DVD as well

I have owned a VHS tape of this movie for years. I just can't bring myself to break the seal and open it.

Haha... I know how you feel. I found it brand new on VHS a few years back on Ebay (not cheap, either), and I only broke it open just recently (and with mixed emotions). First thing I did was rip it to DVD.

I got my copy about ten years ago (VHS) through a company called Movies Unlimited. However, I noted that they no longer list it among their titles.
They may not have got around to putting it on DVD yet. For anyone interested in Movies I suggest moviesunlimited.com. They have the largest selection at 40,000
titles in any company in the country. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

I have one, bought it at Tower Records manyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy years
ago. I copied it to a blank, but I plan on burning it to a DVD :)

I have this movie on VHS...too bad they have yet to release it on DVD. I hope they do someday.

I got it as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago from my sister, she got it off of E-bay.

I special-ordered SCAVENGER HUNT in the mid-1990s from a video store I can't even remember the name of. The price at the time was $59.99 from CBS/Fox Video.

I just watched it again last night for the umpteenth time.

Who knows if Fox Video will ever release it on DVD -- but my tape is still working just fine so no bother.
