the old man shows up at camp right before the creature comes . the bear then destroys the camp leaving the old man(m*rai) unharmed. later when they try to escape the creature into the water. m*rai and the bear meet up again the old man thinks he is going to be safe again (thinks he can control him?) but the creature did not reconize him because m*rai didnt have his glasses on (poor guy)

I didnt notice it till you pointed that out . That was pretty funny , missing his glasses he was another person. great movie

Kind of like Superman and Clark Kent.

Good effective shot was when the burning fires were reflected M*rai's glasses. It was very spooky and me wonder about dubiosity of his character at that point.
