blu ray?
I guess there is a new dvd release that looks terrible. With such great scenery it's too bad there isn't a widescreen blu ray release. Anyone hear of any non-US version coming out?
shareI would love to see this film get a crisp blu-ray release. Sadly I haven't come across news of any non-US versions either. I recently ordered a widescreen DVD of this and also Caboblanco (1980) on blu-ray.

can you give me your source for the dvd and blu rays? Had no idea Cabo Blanco was on blu ray. Not a great film but might be worth seeing on blu.
Forget about the widescreen of 'love and bullets', it's actually pan & scan than actually advertised. This is the Thai release. One of these days I guess. As for 'Cabo blanco', it's a German release I got on eBay. It's one of those films that's grown on me and I thought it would look good on blu-ray.

shareThe picture quality looks really good for such a film, while the sound is even better. A clean transfer and quite a nice surprise. There's even a decent little making of featurette.

I got this ten years ago on DVD, a booklet and it was the best special edition of any Bronson film you will ever get. Trailers, trailer of the film been re-masted. And a 25 making of ... And you see Bronson mess up some scenes.
