mental health jokes feel uneasy

it just seems odd to be given permission to laugh at certain 'jokes' as they so clearly mimick disabled and mentally disabled people. otherwise a pretty funny film.

Not everyone is so fragile and easily offended. Funny is funny.

Making fun of people, including disabled people does not always mean to be offensive to them, to be condescending, putting them down or being mean spirited, it depends on the intention, where's the love for our friends and loved ones if we can not make fun of them too, I've never met anyone who didn't make fun of me, my own disabilities, it makes me so happy when I can be part of the joyful heart. Making fun of something or someone means making light of an ordinary life.

Back then America wasn't filled with a bunch of wussy, whiney SJWs who are offended by everything and can't laugh at a joke.

Anybody who would be remotely offended by this movie, from 1979, shouldn't be allowed to even watch it. What a wuss!
