Could you live in a house where people were murdered?

I'm just curious how many people could move into that house after the murders. Scam or truth aside on the Lutz's story. Could you move into the house after the Defaoe family was killed. Personally, I don't think I could. It would be on my mind every time I'd be at home alone at night. I do live in an apartment building where someone was shot two floors below me a few months ago. And I honestly don't think about it much. But this is different. This was a whole family, children and parents killed in their sleep. It's just too dark for me. Thoughts from others?

I could not live somewhere if I knew a person died there. I HAVE lived somewhere where a person died though. My aunt passed away in my home when I was a teen and I never had any weird thoughts.

You can't really be certain what happened anywhere. One of my first jobs was in hotel maintenance and grounds keeping. Someone committed suicide in a bathtub early in the morning, the body was quickly removed after the discovery, and the room was being rented out within days.

Ignorance is bliss, it'd be hard taking a shower imagining a bloody body at your feet.

Nope. Not really because of the haunting, but it would be on my mind every day.

^ Exactly me. I don't believe in demons and such, but I'd constantly relive and reflect upon the murders every second I'm in the house, and every night I'd stare at the wall and floor and envision where the blood spread and stare at the door to imagine what the victim might have seen had they been awake - someone coming at them with a shotgun/axe, etc.
